Terms & Conditions of Service

By scheduling cleaning services with Picture Perfect Maid LLC, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Service Preparation

To ensure the best cleaning experience, clients are asked to tidy up the night before the scheduled service. Please clear floors, countertops, tables, and remove dirty dishes from sinks.

This allows our team to focus on detailed cleaning rather than organizing or decluttering. If organizing services are requested, please notify us in advance. Additional fees may apply.

2. Arrival Window

Picture Perfect Maid LLC provides an estimated arrival window. Due to traffic, weather, or previous job conditions, arrival times may vary.

If delays occur, clients will be notified by phone or text message.

If the client will not be home, access instructions such as lockbox code, garage code, door code, or other entry details must be provided in advance. All access information is handled with care and professionalism.

3. Cleaning Time & Scope

Picture Perfect Maid LLC charges by the job, not by the hour. Our team works efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

If the scope of work is reduced without prior notice, the original quoted rate still applies.

If the condition of the home differs from the original description, or if additional work is requested, pricing may be adjusted with client approval before the additional work is performed.

4. First-Time Cleaning Disclaimer

First-time or initial cleanings may require more time and effort due to accumulated dust, buildup, grease, pet hair, or neglected areas.

During initial services, some stains, buildup, or permanent discoloration may not be fully removable. Results may vary depending on the condition, age, and material of the surfaces.

5. Heavy Soil Condition Clause

If the home is found to have excessive buildup, heavy soil, grease, pet hair accumulation, clutter, or other conditions requiring significantly more labor, the price may be adjusted accordingly.

The client will always be notified before additional work is performed.

6. Dusting Policy

Some dust settling may occur after a cleaning, especially during first-time services.

For shelves and display areas, our team hand-dusts up to 10 small items per shelf. Additional items may be dusted around unless organizing or detailed item-by-item dusting has been requested in advance.

For safety reasons, our team uses step ladders and extension tools but does not clean fragile, unstable, or wall-mounted items that cannot be safely supported.

7. Extra Services

Certain services are not included in standard cleaning services unless specifically requested in advance. These may include, but are not limited to:

  • Interior refrigerator cleaning
  • Oven cleaning
  • Interior cabinet cleaning
  • Freezer cleaning
  • Additional bed linen or duvet changes
  • Organizing or decluttering services

Pricing for extra services may vary depending on the size, condition, and amount of time required.

Refrigerator Cleaning

Interior refrigerator cleaning is available as an additional service and must be requested in advance. This service is not automatically included in regular cleanings or occupied-home deep cleanings, as it requires additional time and detailed attention.

For move-in and move-out cleanings, refrigerator cleaning may be included depending on the condition and accessibility of the appliance.

For occupied homes, we kindly ask that refrigerators be emptied prior to the appointment when interior cleaning is requested. This allows our team to provide the best possible results.

Bed Linen & Duvet Changes

As part of our standard service, Picture Perfect Maid LLC includes bed linen and duvet changes for up to two beds per visit.

Additional bed or duvet changes beyond the included two beds are available for an extra fee of $15 per bed, due to the additional time required.

To help our team provide the best service possible, clean linens must be left out and easily accessible prior to the appointment. If clean linens are not available or accessible, this service may not be completed.

8. Pets

For safety reasons, pets should be secured or supervised during service.

Our team does not handle pet waste, litter boxes, or animal accidents.

Picture Perfect Maid LLC is not responsible for incidents involving pets during service, including escaped pets, bites, scratches, or damages caused by animals.

9. Cleaning Supplies

Picture Perfect Maid LLC provides all necessary professional cleaning supplies and equipment.

If the client prefers specific products to be used, those products must be provided by the client and clearly labeled.

Picture Perfect Maid LLC is not responsible for the effectiveness or results of client-provided products.

10. Home Temperature

For the safety and comfort of our cleaning staff, clients are asked to maintain a reasonable indoor temperature during service.

Recommended temperature: 74–76°F.

If the home temperature is unsafe or uncomfortable, service may be delayed, rescheduled, or discontinued.

11. Accidents or Broken Items

Our team takes great care while cleaning. However, accidents can occasionally occur.

Picture Perfect Maid LLC is not responsible for damages caused by normal wear and tear, age-related deterioration, improper installation, improper assembly, unstable furniture, or pre-existing damage.

Any damage concern must be reported within 24 hours of service.

12. Protecting Valuables

Clients are responsible for securing fragile, valuable, irreplaceable, or sentimental items before service.

Items that should not be touched should be clearly marked “Do Not Touch” or communicated to the company in advance.

13. Payment Terms

Payment is due on the day of service unless otherwise agreed in advance.

For first-time services, large projects, move-in/move-out cleanings, or deep cleanings, a 50% deposit may be required to reserve the appointment.

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Zelle
  • Venmo
  • Cash
  • Check

Failure to pay on the day of service may result in suspension of future services.

14. Price Adjustments

Quotes are based on the information provided by the client at the time of booking.

If the home’s condition, size, number of rooms, level of buildup, or requested scope differs significantly from what was originally described, pricing may be adjusted after discussion with the client.

No additional work will be performed without client approval.

15. Recurring Cleaning Schedule Changes

Recurring cleaning rates are based on maintaining the agreed service schedule, such as weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly service.

If a cleaning appointment is skipped, delayed, or rescheduled beyond the normal frequency, additional time and labor may be required at the next visit due to increased buildup.

In such cases, a price adjustment may apply as follows:

  • Weekly clients: If one week is missed, the next cleaning may be subject to a 10% price adjustment.
  • Bi-weekly clients: If service extends to 3 weeks, a 10% adjustment may apply.
  • Bi-weekly clients extended to 4 weeks: The monthly service rate may apply, with an adjustment of up to 20%.
  • Monthly clients: If service extends to 5 weeks, a 25% adjustment may apply.
  • Monthly clients extending to 6 weeks or more: The service may be charged 50% more or converted to a one-time cleaning rate.

Two or more consecutive cancellations may result in the release of the recurring service time slot.

16. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Lockouts

Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made with at least 48 hours’ notice.

Late cancellations, same-day cancellations, lockouts, or failure to provide access may result in a 100% service charge.

A lockout includes, but is not limited to, no one being home, incorrect access codes, locked doors, unavailable keys, or failure to provide entry instructions.

17. Pausing or Ending Recurring Services

Clients must provide a minimum of two weeks’ notice to pause, cancel, or end recurring services.

Failure to provide proper notice may result in the loss of the recurring time slot.

18. Annual Price Review

Service rates may be reviewed annually based on labor costs, supply costs, fuel costs, inflation, and changes in service needs.

Clients will be notified in advance of any rate adjustments.

19. Non-Solicitation of Employees

Clients may not directly or indirectly hire, solicit, or offer private work to Picture Perfect Maid LLC staff during service or within 12 months after the employee’s relationship with the company ends.

Violation of this policy may result in immediate termination of services and a $2,500 placement fee.

20. Tipping Policy

Tipping is appreciated but never required.

If gratuity is included with payment, clients must clearly specify the tip amount.

21. Use of Images for Marketing

Photos of cleaned areas may occasionally be taken for marketing, portfolio, quality control, or social media purposes.

No personal, private, or identifying information will be included.

Clients may opt out by providing written notice before the scheduled service.

22. Feedback & Satisfaction Guarantee

If there are concerns regarding a cleaning service, clients must notify Picture Perfect Maid LLC within 24 hours of service completion.

We will return to address the issue at no additional cost when appropriate.

Refunds are not provided.

23. Right to Refuse Service

Picture Perfect Maid LLC reserves the right to refuse, pause, or discontinue service if a home presents unsafe, unsanitary, or hazardous conditions.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Biohazards
  • Pest infestations
  • Mold
  • Human or animal waste
  • Excessive clutter
  • Unsafe structures
  • Aggressive pets
  • Illegal activity
  • Conditions that put our team at risk

If service is refused or discontinued due to unsafe conditions, cancellation or service fees may still apply.

24. Agreement

By scheduling services with Picture Perfect Maid LLC, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
